Course description: You are a student of any technical background or skill level who wants to produce complete, publishable digital artwork online. You will:


πŸ—“οΈ Duration: 8 classes, 2 hours per class starting June 5th

πŸ•°οΈΒ  Schedule: 6pm-8pm on Wednesdays

πŸ—ΊοΈ Location: WeWork, Floor 18, 85 Broad in Financial District, Manhattan

πŸ‘₯ Class size: 20 students

🀝 Commitment: Class attendance + 1-3 hours of homework per week

πŸ’°Β  Tuition: sliding scale of $80 - $240 tuition + cost of Photoshop ($20 - $45) (Lower bound is the scholarship level – students, artists, and service workers welcome! If you have more financial freedom, consider the upper range as a support to others)

Background

With the right will and skill, anyone can create digital collages. Digital collages can stand alone, or accompany and complement writing, music, playlists, and other art forms. In this course, we’ll learn basic skills for composing digital collages, primarily Photoshop and art theory. We’ll also explore different styles of collaging and start to discover your personal style.
